Two More Days

I can’t believe My girl will be here in two more days.  We now refer to her move in terms of days, not months or years.  I am very excited for her to finally get here, and I find Myself behind in preparation for when she finally arrives.  We both talk about seeing each other at the airport and how that will be the moment when our old lives are behind us and our new lives begin.

As I’ve said before, ami has all the hard work for the move.  She’s had to take the pups in to get shots and health certificates for the flight.  she is doing it on her own, with no help from anyone around her.  This includes her trip to the airport with 2 pet carriers and her luggage.  Circumstances prevent Me from going there to help, but I don’t feel very good about it.  I keep telling her that once she is in her seat on the plane she can start to breathe easier.

Our life together began 9 years ago, mostly long distance with a few trips in between.  I had the good fortune of spending a fair amount of time with her when my job sent me to NY for 3 months.  However, our M/s relationship has been pretty much apart, and I am looking forward to transitioning to the physical aspects of the relationship.  The first thing I will do when she walks through the door of our home is put her collar on and lock it.  The second thing, well, that’s a little personal and you will have to use your imagination.

Back to the airport……. When I see her, I will give her the biggest hug she can imagine.  I will wrap her in My arms and hold her for a while, making sure she knows she is safe and secure.  Then, after getting her luggage we will go on a search for the pups and get them loaded in the car.  Once we are all in, we will drive the 15 minutes to their new home, now to be referred to as our home.  It’s been a long time coming, and I am as excited as I’ve ever been before thinking about our life together.  Stay tuned for the next chapter in our journey from long distance to living together.
